Paralegal Degree and Certificate Programs

Paralegal services is a challenging and rewarding field. It is expected to grow much faster than the job market in general, as employers reduce costs by having paralegals perform tasks formerly performed by attorneys.* Globe University offers three paralegal programs that help students take advantage of this opportunity:

We are now enrolling for the coming quarter. Please call our Wausau campus at 1-877-303-6060 or contact college admissions for information or assistance.

Career opportunities in paralegal services

About 70% of paralegals work for law firms.* Others work for corporate legal departments, government agencies and title agencies. In a small firm or company, a paralegal will be a generalist. In a larger organization, the paralegal may specialize in an area such as litigation, family law, personal injury, criminal law, corporate law, immigration, intellectual property or bankruptcy.

Pay and the level of challenge offered generally increase with a paralegal’s level of education and experience. Many employers require bachelor’s degrees; others accept associate degrees in paralegal for entry-level positions.
